Job Description:

  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment

  • Write and implement weekly lesson plans based on Destination Education's Developmental Guidelines and monthly school themes.

  • Advance children's physical and intellectual competence while supporting each child's social and emotional development, and individual needs.

Desired Qualifications:

1+ to 2 years of experience preferred

A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field preferred
A minimum of 1-year experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool preferred 
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

Childcare Meal Chef

Job Description

  • This individual will be responsible for opening the facility daily and functioning as the cook and a floater teacher when needed.
    Hours needed are from 6:30 am-12:30 p.m. (part-time) Monday-Friday.

  • Open the facility daily for parents, students, and staff in a timely and professional manner.

  • Prepare and serve nutritious breakfast and lunch as outlined in the agency meal plan, while following all health and safety procedures.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.

  • Serve as a floater teacher when needed.

  • Maintain the health and safety of all students.

Desired Qualifications:

1 year of experience preferred 

High school degree required

Previous experience in childcare, teaching or other related fields preferred
Previous experience as a cook preferred
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
